Privacy Policy
Effective: 24.09.2026
1. Who's responsible
myCreativePro is the data controller for this website. For anything privacy-related, email us at . Full operator details are in our Imprint.
2. What we collect and why
We process personal data only when there is a clear, lawful reason under Article 6 (1) GDPR.
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or book a call, we collect your name, email, whether you are writing as a brand, an agency or a freelancer, and a short message if you choose to write one. The contact form does not ask for your company or phone number; you can give those, optionally, on the project brief form (see below). If you answer the optional "How did you find us?" question, that answer is sent along with your message and used only to understand which channels bring people to us. Lawful basis: pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) (b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to you (Art. 6 (1) (f)).
Confirmation emails. After you send the contact form, we send one confirmation email to the address you entered. It contains a copy of what you entered in the form, with any links hidden and long text shortened, plus a link to book a call and a link to our project brief form. The brief link contains your name, email and the type of inquiry in encoded, signed form, so the brief form can show them instead of asking again; the link stops working after 30 days. After you send the project brief, we send one more confirmation email to the same address, with a copy of your answers (again with links hidden). We send no further automated emails.
Project brief. If you fill in our project brief form, we collect your answers: the goal of the video, the type of video, your deadline or key date, your budget range, the languages you need, where the video will be used, and, if you give them, your company, reference links, your phone number and any further notes — together with your name and email, taken from the link or entered by you. We use them only to understand your project and prepare a quote. We use your phone number only to call you back; ticking "I'd prefer a call" simply tells us you'd rather be called than emailed. Lawful basis: pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6 (1) (b)). Your brief is sent by email to our inbox and kept there. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing .
Freelancer applications. If you apply through our freelancer form, we collect your name, email, what you do, your reel or portfolio link, where you're based and, if you give them, your day rate and message. We use them only to consider you for projects. Lawful basis: steps prior to a contract taken at your request (Art. 6 (1) (b)) and our legitimate interest in finding the right crew for our projects (Art. 6 (1) (f)). Your application is sent by email to our inbox and kept there. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing .
Technical information. When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data (IP, browser, request times) for security and operation. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site running (Art. 6 (1) (f)).
3. Third-party services
We use a small number of services to run this site: Vercel (hosting and anti-bot protection), Resend (emails from our contact, brief and freelancer forms, and the confirmation emails), Google / YouTube (embedded videos via the privacy-friendly youtube-nocookie.com domain), and Google Calendar (call booking). When you use the contact, brief or freelancer form, a short automated spam check runs in your browser and on our server; it involves no third-party service beyond our hosting provider Vercel, and the part we run ourselves sets no cookies.
Where a service is based outside the EU, the transfer is covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Article 46 GDPR.
4. Cookies
We don't set marketing or analytics cookies. Technical cookies may be set by our hosting provider for security. Embedded videos may set cookies the moment you play one — those are managed by Google.
5. Sharing with partners
For some projects, work is delivered with trusted partner agencies or freelance crew. If we need to share your contact details with a specific partner to deliver a project, we'll tell you who and why first.
6. Data retention
We keep your data only as long as needed to manage the relationship, plus any retention period German tax law requires us to follow (up to 10 years for business records).
7. Your rights
You have the standard GDPR rights over your personal data: access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection. To exercise any of these, email us at .
8. Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated over time. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
