Accessibility
Updated: 27.07.2026
We want everyone to be able to use this website — including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard only, need high contrast or large text, or are sensitive to motion.
Our conformance target
This website is built to meet WCAG 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the European standard EN 301 549 and by Germany's Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG).
myCreativePro works with businesses and institutions rather than consumers, so we are not a provider of consumer e-commerce services under the BFSG. We hold ourselves to this standard anyway, because it is the right way to build.
We assess this website as largely conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Largely conformant" means the standard is met throughout, with the exceptions listed below.
What we have built in
Accessibility is built into the site's source code, not bolted on by a widget. That includes:
- A "skip to main content" link as the first item on every page
- Full keyboard operation, with a clearly visible focus outline on every interactive element
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, and at least 3:1 for borders, icons, and controls
- Click and tap targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels
- A pause control on everything that moves by itself — the background video, the client logo band, and the testimonial rotation
- Videos that load only when you choose to play them, rather than starting on their own
- Correct heading structure, landmark regions, and form labels
- Decorative icons and graphics hidden from screen readers
- Respect for your operating system's reduce-motion and contrast preferences
- Full German and English versions, with the page language declared correctly in each
The accessibility settings panel
The Accessibility settings button in the site header opens a panel where you can adjust contrast, text size, motion, font, link underlines, click target size, and focus outline. Your choices are stored in your own browser and are not sent to us.
This panel is an extra convenience. It is not what makes the site accessible — the underlying code is. If you turn every setting off, the site still meets the standard.
Known limitations
We would rather name these than hide them:
- Video captions. Our films are hosted on YouTube. Not every film currently carries accurate captions. We are working through the back catalogue and caption all new work.
- Embedded YouTube player. Once you start a video, the player is Google's software and its accessibility is outside our control.
- Booking calendar. "Book a call" opens Google Calendar's booking page, which is a third-party service we do not control. If it does not work for you, email us and we will arrange a time directly.
- Case study text. Some project descriptions use industry vocabulary. We are gradually plain-language editing them.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on this site blocks you, we want to hear about it — a short description of the page and what went wrong is enough.
Email hello@mycreative.pro with "Accessibility" in the subject line. We reply within five working days, and we will give you the information you were after in a form that works for you while we fix the underlying problem.
How we test
We test with keyboard-only navigation, screen readers on macOS and Windows, browser zoom to 400%, and automated checks. Automated tools cannot catch everything, so manual testing decides.
